The Emilia Project (2010 - ????)

The Emilia Project is a new, very special project. Masterminded by Yasha Young, creatively empowered by Daniel van Nes and the architecture of Christian Muller Architects, it will grow into a brilliant project. Something that has never been done before. The project will be officially launched at the BLOOOM art fair in Cologne in October 2010.

SellFable City (2000 - ????)

It is as real as you and me. Dark and uncomfortable, populated by lost and lonely creatures. A place no one wants to live. A place to get lost and never be found. Its inhabitants live to serve only two purposes: to feed the city with their energy and to keep its greasy factory-machines running. Like batteries, the inhabitants are drained of their energy and recycled. They have one religion and many vices. Above all worship the place they live in and provide it with electricity. Status in SFC is shown mainly by the showing off the interfaces that are attached to and built into the body. A faithful citizen dedicates time, pain, money, or a combination of all to show faith. It will spread like an ink stain.

Every now and then a door opens just a fraction and something escapes from, or gets into SellFable City. Carried on a chilly draft, items, dreams, thoughts and images enter our world randomly. There is much to tell about this place and some of its inhabitants. Day to day life, fashion, media, its dynasties and history. Its secrets. And of course there is a story to tell about Victoria Woolstool.

We are here to gather the evidence. Visit www.sellfable.com and get lost.

Victoria Woolstool (2005 - ????)

The Victoria Woolstool project has been about a specially designed guest room inside a home in Rotterdam. Victoria is one of the inhabitants of SellFable City. She runs a notorious brothel in the city and is a lost and lonely creature that writes poems. She travels from the city to our world and brings a little piece with her everytime she visits. Though no one has ever seen her, or knows what she looks like, she is very real, close and personal. Many guests from all over the world were welcomed and able to breathe the atmosphere of Victoria's home in SellFable City.

The guest room is until later notice closed to the public, and the project is dormant. (Victoria still pays her visits!)
